“Life Of Indebtedness”
“Paid in full.” (Col 2:13-14) I owed a big debt to my visa in my twenties. My Dad came to the rescue and paid it in full. I had been irresponsible, but he extended grace. Indebtedness is defined as owing gratitude for undeserved favor. Tracing the life of Paul it’s so obvious that his zealousness came from his place of indebtedness. The loving pursuit of Christ Jesus into his life of rebellion set a fire in his soul that wouldn’t quit. He was never out to earn God’s favor. He was out to spread God’s favor, for he had seen it up close.
