We march to the beat of our own drum until Jesus collides with our world and makes us new. We proceed in victory as we release our ways and entrust ourselves to Him completely, personally and globally. Jesus leads the triumphant procession. (2 Cor 2:14)
Personally, we fail. We make choices of regret, we break the heart of God. By our words, thoughts and actions, we stumble. We pick up the pen and design our own plans without His input, and can fall into this trap as we interpret the world. Yet, God holds the quill. Written in everlasting ink is the story of the world. Written over our shame is amazing grace and mercy, “who saves a wretch like me.”
Coming out of hiding with the posture of a child, we find the lover of our souls who wipes our tears and deeply forgives. Who embraces our weakness and restores. We find His Holy script is able to undo our wrongs and the wrongs done to us. He ushers us into His arms and we deeply experience His name, “Faithful and True.” (Rev 19:11) As we draw closer still, we see He who is good and holds steady every detail and keeps His every word in perfection. (Rom 8:28)
Do you know Him personally as “Faithful & True”? Has He written over your script? Do you see His story of the world coming to fruition?
Releasing our script into His hands, we find He’s The trustworthy One, with Holy edits and with unchanging Holy plans!
Behind my words is a heart in awe of The Author. Jesus loves you and me and wants all this and more for us.
