“Unhindered Birdsongs”

Posted on

Do you hear the birds singing at the break of day? They carry their song right through. Even in a downpour of rain, the echo of their hymn stands firm. As the day closes out, it’s as strong as it was at dawn. They sing unruffled, with confidence, they seem to know that everything is going to be alright.

The Lord knows when a sparrow falls. He meets their every need. How much more does He know when we fall and provide for us? How much more valuable are we to Him and how much more do we have a reason to sing? The Lord must rejoice as our song continues like the birds of the air, undistracted by the weather. Clouds disperse and light hits as we lift up our song.

We can sing like the birds, for our confidence is not in this world, it’s in Jesus who has overcome the world! Listen for the birdsongs and let them stir you to break out in praise.

“You can buy two sparrows for only a copper coin, yet not even one sparrow falls to the ground without the knowledge of your Father. Aren’t you worth much more to God than many sparrows? So don’t worry. For your Father cares deeply about even the smallest detail of your life.” (Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭29‬-‭31‬)
