“He makes everything beautiful in its time.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
Thinking on time. All our days. Tick tock. How, all this time, the Lord is aiming to make everything beautiful. He says so. What do you think about when you read this? Okay Lord, it’s about time! Things aren’t so great, what are you waiting for? OR, praise You, You’ve brought beauty in the most unexpected places. Maybe we live in all these places through time. Yes, that’s accurate.
I’ve been camping out on the word “completion,” a promise tagged in Philippians, “He will bring everything to completion.” Could it be that “all this time” in our lives, He’s pursuing us to complete our stories and bring this kind of beauty instead?
Beauty from ashes, strength on the journey with a confident hope, steadfast help and a secure eternal future.
What God starts He finishes. I feel confident that this is the good work He longs to complete. Where are you in your time? In your story? On the clock?
“I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].” (Philippians 1:6) (continue to, every second of every day.)
Lord, Complete us as we seek You. Escort us into Your presence even more this advent season.
Amen & Alleluia.
Would love to steal some time with you in my new book to embrace this kind of beauty. He has so much to teach us. Much Love, Friend.
