A Walk

“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:25)

When I was growing up, my bestie and I had a habit of wrapping our arms over each other’s shoulders, and walking forward together in unison, same foot and same pace, we’d voice the words, “Left, left, left right left.”  I remember it like yesterday.

I recently found myself tripping and falling over my own feet. I was a mess, running into my day and walking into trouble. This image rang out with relevance, in fact, it reset me. The Lord called out the cadence and reminded me to keep in step with Him.

Are you tripping too?

The Father wants to take a long walk with us. It’s an invitation to keep our feet steady, our hearts grounded and our load lighter. ~ Lori

By Your Spirit, with Your arm wrapped tightly around us, we need You Jesus to navigate the journey, every step of the way. We need You to lead us. Amen.
