“Sown In Tears”

Posted on

As our tears fall to the dry grounds we travel, a harvest can come.

Suffering has a way of reaping something in the soul that otherwise may have not been sown without tears.

It brings us into a place of desperate need, searching for a place of comfort, to ease our pain.

Suffering isn’t our desire, but it’s part of the journey and can bring resurrection life in ways we would’ve never otherwise experienced.

It’s when we have nothing left that we start truly looking up.

There’s providential purpose in all the Lord does.

When we are at the end, the void of hope and in great need, He calls us into His strength.

As our tears fall to the ground, He is stirring something beneath the soil.

I’ve found that weeping may last for a night, or more than, but joy comes in the mourning, as we see the love of God in Christ Jesus that remains and surpasses our circumstances.

It’s the reason I sing. I’d never want anyone to give up in the valley.

As He reveals His steady hand, He reshapes the soul.

Have you witnessed it?

I pray His rich mercy and presence over you. I encourage you wherever life finds you on this pilgrim journey.

May our tears reap faith, hope and trust as we observe His unfailing love in them. (1 Peter 1:9)

May we learn the lyrics of His higher ways, sing, dance and encourage one another. For this is God’s will in Christ Jesus. He holds victorious outcomes as we trust Him and stick together.

Did you know? Jesus is seated at God’s right hand. He pleads for His people against condemnation, for strength through valleys. (Romans 8:34) Do you need more reassurance? Do you know this song? Flowers Grow In Valleys. By: Samantha Ebert Jesus loves you, Lori
