“HE is breathing room for our souls.” (Psalm 62:6)
Sounds of grace and mercy bring a long exale of life and security, living hope and peace.
As chaos and tragedy strike from all angles, we need Jesus, we need His song.
We know we have the right lyrics when we hear sounds of assurance. When we hear fear and panic, the antagonist has come to steal the song. (John 10:10)
To hear the Lord’s song in greater magnitude, we must step away from the noise and enter into His sanctuary.
It’s in the quiet reflection of His word that He rains down living water to wash away our fears. (Psalm 19:7)
I know we all thirst in this dry and weary land. (Psalm 63:1) My heart stirs hard for all of us to be caught in His rain together. For us to quiet down in His presence, for His song to strike with more intensity, like a trumpet inside.
The good Lord desires to strike every chord of our being with His peace that passes all understanding.
That we’ll see His unchanging character throughout the ages; trust, taste and see that He’s ever-present and truly good, marveling in His victorious plans that stand firm and eternal. (Psalm 34:8)
Is there a trumpet sounding in your soul? Is His song living there?
May the trumpet sound of His steadfast faithfulness echo in our souls louder with each passing day.
Trust Him. He’s the destiny of our days. His song will never end.
He’s breathing room for our souls. He alone is our safe place. Everything we hope for comes from Him. He’s the beginning and the end and everything in between. (Psalm 62:6) paraphrase
I just want to speak the name of Jesus over us.
“Jesus, the name above all names.” (Phil 2:9)
