“With Love & Urgency”

Posted on

What do we do when our hearts our deeply groaning for a world that’s unstable and hurting? As we watch things whip and horrific acts happen?

We flee to our only safe refuge. We hide in the Rock.

They’d flee to actual rocks way back, to caves cut in mountains when the enemy came close.

What happens if there comes a time when there’s no physical place to flee? Where will we go?

There’s only one place to go, it’s to the Rock of our salvation, Jesus.

As we watch horrific things taking place all around us. We must make the choice to do an “about face.”

To turn to the Lord. To accept His words, His vision. To seek for His input and cling to Him like never before. (Prov 2:1-6)

There’s only one solid foundation, only one Rock in which to hide, all else ends in total loss.

Stretch out your hands to the Lord. Seek for Him with all your heart. Get alone with Him and let Him tell you the truth.

He told us things in our world would rev up. We are living in a time of preparation. This isn’t my word, it’s His.

This is our pilgrimage. We are on our way home. Jesus is the bridge that gets us there.

He’s aware of all the details in your life and mine.

He sees the world at large. He sees clearly who is hiding in the shadows, prowling and causing such horrific things.

Greater still, He sees us and calls out for us to come draw near to Him and trust Him like never before.

Be still and know that He is God. “He stands on the sidelines with fire tipped arrows.” To take down the evil. (Psalm 64)

He will bring everything to a flourishing finish.

We must hold on through the dark, keep our gaze on Him who is the Light that will never be snuffed out.

Have you trusted in Him? Are you confused and apprehensive as you watch the world whip?

It is all written.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Every eye will see Him and every knee will bow. (John 14:6, Phil 2:10-11)

Trust Him through the storms. Hold on with all your might. He will come and make all things right. (Isa 43:19)

The heart that trusts in Him will be glad and rejoice, is secure and has a hope and a future that is solid and sure.

One day, they’ll be no more pain and suffering. (Rev 21:4)

Jesus is coming. He’s on His way.

And He said me, “These words are trustworthy and true.”” (Rev 22:6)

“I am coming quickly. Blessed is the one who heeds and takes to heart and remembers my words of prophecy.” (Not one will fail to come to fruition.) (Rev 22‬:‭7)
