Life’s too short to play ping pong all day.
I played ping pong as a kid, it was fun, but ping-pong in our minds is exhausting. “He loves me, He loves me not.” Does this ever describe your thoughts? Do you second guess God’s undying embrace?
Know the truth and let the truth set you free.
I played princess as a little girl, too. I’d tie together stems of wild clover and make a crown to dress my head. Truth is, I’m not always a princess in life, though, my actions prove it. And I’m not always strong in my stance. I slip into weariness and doubt. You too, right? BUT GOD. His embrace remains strong and secure. God longs to crown us and declare us His Beloved, every single day, the good days and not so good. He loves us at all times.
The Lord declares no more ping pong. He desires to instill a steadfast, new mind, delivering us into a triumphant life. No matter where life finds us, His wild love is able to do exceedingly, abundantly more than we’d ever ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)
Never underestimate God’s abundance and power. Cry out when the ping pong strikes and settle into His undying embrace.
No more head games. His love never shifts. No never. May His unfailing love establish us firm in heart and mind.
“I cried out, “I am slipping!” but Your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me.When doubts filled my mind, Your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.” (Psalm 4:18-19)
