“The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come that you might have life abundant.” (John 10:10)
There’s a yoke that can hang us and a yoke that can free us. Yoked to “the One” we move forward. Yoked to the other, we are strangled, stagnant and our harvest is stolen. When we trust in the Lord, we won’t wither. When we are yoked to the truth, we will flourish. “The grass withers, the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” His love does, too. His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
Are we yoked to fear or are we living in peace? Are we prospering or withering?
His plans are to have us prosper and our lives to produce a harvest. We must realize there is one who wants to steal them. We must cut every yoke that ties us to anything but Jesus and move forward as His beloved. Praise Him for His enduring presence through it all. He desires to reap a harvest of hope.
“His yoke binds up the brokenhearted, proclaims liberty to the captives, and opens the prison doors of those who are bound.” (Isaiah 61:1)
(other references: Isaiah 48:19, Psalm 136:1, Matthew 11:28-30, Jeremiah 29:11)
Staying yoked to the Lord,
the harvest of His abundance is yielded.

How true.
You can’t “earn” your way into heaven. It is given by God’s Grace to all that study and follow His Word.
His Word IS His voice of love!
