I watched the waves roll in. The backdrop was cloudy skies and the roar of the ocean was super loud. The wind whipped and my mind tossed with the foam, rising and falling. I found myself once again, having to make a choice. A choice to trust and believe that God is good, even in the storms and mysteries. I sang a song to Him about His sovereignty, and as I did, my faith rose and my fear fled. I choose to see the constant waves as a reminder of His constant love that never fails. I choose to remember that “sorrow may last for a night, but joy is coming in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) I started counting one by one all of the miracles the Lord has already accomplished in my life and counted Calvary over and over.
In the mysteries, God‘s voice of love is calling us to remember that He is faithful and unchanging.
We can trust Him. All our days are held by Him.
In the waves that roar, in the trials and undertows that mark our lives and threaten to pull us under, Our Savior remains faithful from the beginning to the end. He will carry us to completion.

“The Lord will be the Savior of all who love Him. Even in their time of trouble, God will live in them as strength. Because of their faith in Him, their daily portion will be a Father’s help and deliverance. This is true for all who turn to hide themselves in Him!”(Psalm 37:39-40)
