The voice of truth shouted through the cracks beneath my feet, the weeds that I stepped over and the ones that surrounded me on all sides. Some parts of the path were more dense, others less overtaken; much like life‘s journey here. I couldn’t rejoice in my circumstances, but I chose to rejoice in the God of my salvation. The birds freely soared above. The moment whispered. Hope in Me more, I will help you soar despite the storms. Much surrounds you, I know. It will try to overtake you, entangle you, and make you question My love for you, but don’t let it. Take My hand. I see it all. I will uphold you. The path opened to an expanse of bright blue skies. The sun shown with brilliance. I stood still and turned my face upward. My heart settled in. Keep going, WE are going to make it. You are almost home. (Isaiah 40:31, Hebrews 12:1-2)
The road can feel long and confusing. The path is full of obstacles. Some I never dreamt I’d come up against. You too? We can be overtaken by fear or let the truth take over while we are in it ~ the truth that the Lord never lets us go.
We are surrounded by Him. We always have been and always will be.
ARE YOU IN THE WEEDS?
Can you try to see past them and hear His assurance with me? He wants us to hear His voice loud and clear. “Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:38-42) Nothing. We often can’t rejoice in our circumstance, but we can rejoice in Jesus always, clinging to His every promise. Let us worship the Lord despite it all. This is where we find hope in it all. Much love to you friend.
Praise the name of the Lord most high. High and lifted up, victorious. Our Great Champion Defender, with us every step of the way.
Amen & Alleluia.
