“Keeper In The Clouds”

Posted on

“To Him who is able to keep you.”
(‭‭Jude‬ ‭1‬:‭24)‬ ‭

Creation shouts and this picture screams of the Lord’s abiding presence.

Can you trace the faint rainbow cutting through the clouds? Blue skies breaking through in the backdrop?

Are clouds hovering over your life? Are you rattled by the world’s roars?

Are the floodwaters “up to your neck”? This description in Psalm 69:1 is so accurate in our journeys at times. Can I get a witness?

Cry out like the psalmist in honesty.

“My God, save me! These floods of trouble have risen higher and higher. The water is “up to my neck”! I’m sinking into the mud with no place to stand, about to drown. I’m weary, exhausted with weeping.”

“My throat is dry, my voice is gone, my eyes are swollen with sorrow. I’m waiting for You to come through for me.” (Psalms‬ ‭69‬:‭1‬-‭3‬)

This heart cry waits with confidence.”I know you will come through.”

Though the dry throat can’t speak up, the plea is still heard, and though the eyes are swollen, they aren’t shut to the answer.

The Lord keeps us through the storm. His promises remain and arch over. He’s with you and me and on the other side.

Claim His never changing name, Keeper.

Wait with expectation for Him to come through. Look for His loving reminders. Count a past victory while you wait. Blue skies are coming. Amen & Alleluia.

Now to Him Who is able to keep you, and me. Come what may, trust Him relentlessly. (Jude 1:24-25) I Have This Hope By: Tenth Avenue North Let your heart settle down and the Lord lift you up. This song is a keeper. XO
