“Physical training is of some value, but spiritual training is of value in everything & in every way, since it holds promise for the present life & the life to come.” (1 Timothy 4:8)
I’ve never kept my goals by slacking off. I have to set them, and day by day walk them into existence.
What aim should we have for 2025?
What if we set out to be tenacious? Tenacious is characterized by having extreme persistence. Holding tight to something, keeping a determined way.
We actually have an obligation, to live according to the Spirit. It won’t just happen.
We are up against a lot of noise.
We must set the goal and refuse to fold.
We must walk the Lord’s every promise onto the turf of our very lives.
We must ask His guidance at every turn.
Day after day, do it all without compromise.
Be tenacious. Jesus loves you. Dream big, go strong! Hear His Voice of Truth with more intensity. Hold tighter to Him than you ever have. He will surely pull us through, no matter what comes our way, as we keep our aim.
Brothers and sisters, we have an obligation, to bury the old life & our self-reliance. To get on with the new life. God beckons us to take action. To toil & train tirelessly that we will truly live in Him & in the full measure of our true identity as we wait expectantly and trust Him relentlessly. (Romans 8:12-13) personal paraphrase
