I hear it every time I dance with my hubby, “Are you leading, or am I?” Is life all about the dance? We are invited to dance with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and let Him lead, but am I? Are you?
I’ve learned that every time I choose to take the lead, I trip up, become clumsy and the music fades. Yet, when I let go, hold tight and let Him orchestrate the moves, the dance trumps my wildest dreams! It’s beautiful, and salvation’s song increases.
Only Jesus can spin and twirl us in wonder. Yes, there are dips of trials and tribulations, I don’t like them either, but it offers Him more access to our hearts, because we tend to need Him more than ever and this is His end goal. Feel His grip even tighter in the trials. We might get weary, but His victorious love never fades. May we truly dance with Him and trust Him in all His ways.

Jesus danced His heart out. He followed the Father’s lead and it earned us life eternal. This is our victory. We can trust Him. He never leaves the dance floor.
