Going Into “Loved”

I finished my text, hit send and noticed what had landed. “Going into unloved for the next couple hours.” Whoa! It was meant to say “going into unplugged.” I had an immediate thought and realized I had a choice. As I entered into unplugged, would I go into loved or unloved? Do you agree we have a choice? I don’t want this typo in my reality. Do you?

We are never unloved. In our deepest depths, when our tears have been our food day and night, when our souls our downcast, we can still go into “loved.” (Psalm 42: 3,7) We can pour out our souls in honesty, even say to our God, “Why have you forgotten me?” Emptying our whole selves. We can go there. He hears us when we call and will solidify His love.

Go there. Unplug to be loved.

By day the Lord directs His love, at night His song is with me. A prayer to the God of my life.
(Psalm 42:8) (thanksgiving to the God of ALL my days, the God of right now.)
Savior, Your song is always with us. Amen & Alleulia, we can go into “LOVED.”
