Jesus came to be our source of life, our redemption and our escort all our days until we reach the finish.
As I surveyed the past several days, an emptiness starting to take up residency in my heart, mixed with a craving for quiet connection with Jesus. A most beautiful nudge from the constant Savior whispered ~ Remain in me. Stay put, glued to me. Apart from me you’ll unravel, lose hope and direction. With me, “we” will make it all your days until we reach the golden gates of eternity.
Hear the whisper too. I don’t think it’s just for me.
“Remain in me. Keep your hope til the end and you will experience life and deliverance.” (Matthew 24:13) “Remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. I am your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.” (John 15:4-5)
So many things to be connected to, and You Lord are the ONE thing, the ONLY that completes us.
You are the source of life, now and forever.
May we remain in You.
