How’s life? Are you motivated or tired? Joy filled or down?
While in process of assessing my thoughts, my faith feet and my joy meter, a striking question crossed my path.
“Can trust and distrust hold hands?” (2 Cor 6:14-16 MSG)
What a vivid picture. Do you see it?
One hand in each leaves us tugged and tired, in the middle, divided and down.
Our minds are the territory where trust is formed, controlling our feet, our joy and our destiny.
Faith motivated Abraham to obey God’s call and leave the familiar to discover the territory he was destined to inherit from God.” (Hebrews 11:8)
It’s easy to stay camped out in familiar thought patterns. It’s determination that will transform our patterns & our path.
The heroes of faith show us how. Hebrews 11.
How’d they do it? They were “Convinced of their reality.” What about us?
Will you consider “all this” with me? Though these thoughts struck first of the year, they’re just as true today. I let them fly that they might help you soar and be set on what’s true.
Controlled and sustained by their faith, “Their eyes of faith looked forward, they were set on the city with unshakable foundations, whose architect and builder is God himself.” (Heb 11:10)
