“We’re exclusive.”
Back in the day, this was the mark of a serious relationship. It was clear that the two were in hot pursuit of each other. They were an item, not to be shared with anyone else, entirely committed.
The Voice of Perfect love urges us to set a seal over our hearts and minds. No intruders allowed.
A seal puts up intentional barriers, allowing nothing incompatible to enter in.
So many distractions knock at the door of our hearts. Can I get a witness?
So it’s good to ask ourselves; Is the seal set? Is my barrier weak or strong?
The intimacy happens behind closed doors as we open our hearts, open God’s Word and wait for His voice of love and truth to respond. The strength remains as we remain held by Him, the stronger one in the relationship.
Remember, Jesus is a covenant keeper. He keeps His vows to the nth degree, in His highest power and in His holy given expression.
I melted when I heard Him say; For better or worse, in sickness and in health, in fire and in flood…Until we are united in everlasting life.
Fasten this vow as a seal of fire over your entire being. (Revelation 2:4-5)
Intentionally fall in love more and more, day after day, with the only One who offers untainted forever love.
“Place Me like a seal over your heart, for My love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away.” (Song Of Songs 8:6-7) Amen & Alleluia. It is true.
