“God Is God, I Am Not”

Take My hand. I will guide you. I will lead you along unfamiliar paths.

The longer I’ve lived my life the more I’ve learned to exhale these words, “God, You are God, I am not.”

It comes from a long journey, with a long sigh and with the truth…that the God above all is trustworthy and true.

Dear Friend, “Once we take His hand, we are on the right way.” (Psalm 16:11) Though it gets hard and long, He will never abandon us.

We can leave the unknowns in His hands and trust what He’s already made crystal clear to us.

The same God Who measured the oceans in the hollow of His palms and Who set the world in motion is the One who has His script set in place that brings victory in the end. (Isa 40:12)

The same God Who put on flesh and rose from the dead is the One who walked our sod and understands us at the deepest level, has the power to meet our every need.

He gently told the man who had laid paralyzed on his mat for years, “Get up and walk.” (John 5:8)

I hear His gentle whisper. Don’t be paralyzed but what you see in our shaky world, but trust more.

Look up, take My hand. Get up and walk by faith.

We can trust in His vision, trust His steady hand. (2 Cor 5:7)

Have you taken His hand? Are you down on your mat or upright and walking by faith?

Walk in the truth that He takes care of His own, both today & forevermore.

Hear Him speak to you.
I will lead you along unfamiliar paths. I will turn the darkness into light before you and make the rough places smooth. These are My promises. I will keep them without fail. Roll up your mat. Stand to your feet. Walk with Me, by faith. I’ve got you, all the way.
(Isa‬ ‭42‬:‭16‬) paraphrase
