~WELCOME TO MY JOURNAL~
My journal — my hidden place with the Lord — holds so many secrets, unlocking so many places that have freed my heart. My holy hope is that it will unlock places where maybe you’ve been imprisoned like me, and places where you’ve wrestled and quietly questioned will be opened to the truth. It’s my prayer that we will walk this way together, be tackled with answers, immersed in God’s perfect love, grace and mercy, and be refreshed and set free.
It was the exchange of peace during our church service, a time to pretty much say hi to the people around you. We always sat near the same people, in our unspoken assigned seats. I reached my hand out to a very familiar face I’d met before, one I saw on a weekly basis. He … Continue readingNo Nametag Needed
To be still is to be motionless and unmoving, it’s a picture of a place of deep silence as I see it ~ and this was the kind I was seeking the other day. But me, be still? If you know me, you would know I go a mile a minute, it’s no joke. Yet, … Continue readingBe Still

Poor grandma, she got run over by a reindeer? Who came up with this song? I’ve never been run over by a reindeer, but I’ve been run over by the world; some heartbreaks & some real disappointments. I know I am not alone. Grandpa & Grandma believed in reindeer. I believe we’ve all been run over! … Continue readingGramma Got Run Over?
Jesus said, “I am the Light of the World. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” (John 8:12) “We look for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows. Like the blind groping along the wall, … Continue readingIt Was On a Silent Holy Night
