“Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live. Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your law. I’m a pilgrim on earth; hide not Your commandments from me!” Psalm 119:17-19
The bounty of our days is anchored to the wondrous works of the Lord. His deeds surpass the deeds we’ve done that have broken His heart. He deals with us so lovingly. His healing leads us victorious as pilgrims on the journey. I don’t want to close my eyes and miss one thing He desires to show me. For I’ve been blinded by deceit and I wander aimlessly each time I shift my gaze. Do you echo the same desire? What are you seeing in your life?
Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. It stirs me how He desires to serve as our Counselor and Keeper, and His undying passion that He proved as He served as our ransom. (Matthew 20:28) We must deal with life through His eyes and continually live in the bounty of His every Word. He extends bounty for the groping. He’s the only Light to lead us here and lead us home.
“Like the blind we grope along a wall, feeling our way like people without eyes. Even at brightest noontime, we stumble as though it were dark.” (Isaiah 59:10)
We all stumble, yet the Lord’s light can never be snuffed out. He heals the blind. His bounty exudes love. His call is getting louder.
Lord, apart from You, we are blind and misled. We need You every second. Alleluia, You are with us and for us. The road twists and turns, but with You, we’re going to make it on this pilgrim road!
I’ve struggled on the journey. I long to share “honest life” with you. To cling together to our One True Hope; to be led by and live in the Lord’s perfect love, forgiveness and acceptance. Here, and in the pages of my New Release.
“Come To The Table” (Be Seated Beside The Savior) Pages of honesty, for anyone.
