Cling & Stay Crowned

Posted on

“Cling tightly to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown of victory.” (Rev 3‬:‭11‬)

Jesus was mocked and so were His disciples. Why then do we count it strange when it happens to us? Can I get a witness? If not outright, underneath the surface.

You know about it, right? The voices that come in to negate our true identity. To steal our joy. To demolish our confidence in Christ or to get us to place our confidence in ourselves. To butt in and cause confusion and doubt. They come in to try to get us to “seize our crowns.” Our crowns? Yes! We are crowned in royalty when we accept Christ, heirs to the King of Kings. Our place is kept. “There’s a room waiting” for all His beloved in eternity and there’s living hope waiting for us in today. (John 14:2-3, Col 1:27)

IS YOUR CROWN ON?

Expect the battle, and know that the war has already been won. Anticipate and ask Jesus to speak over the noise. Stand in His strength, overcome the mocking, the distractions, and live in who He says you are until we see Him.

You are Christ’s own. It’s written in heaven. Write it into today. Live with anticipation. Cling increasingly to Jesus. Keep your crown on, beloved.

“I am coming quickly. Hold tight what you have, so that no one will take your crown [by leading you to renounce the faith].”‭‭(Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬) You are an heir of God, a fellow heir with Christ. You possess every spiritual blessing and you have an eternal inheritance.” (Romans 8:17)

SEALED & CROWNED AS CHRIST’S OWN FOREVER. AMEN & ALLELUIA.
“You were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—
to the praise of His glory.”(Ephesians 1:13)
