It’s almost always that a baby’s first utter is “dada.” Is this how God designed it? That our first cry would be for our Daddy? And what about the way that a baby grips a finger?
Father’s Day has come and gone, but I haven’t forgotten about what was on my heart. I thought of the heart of the one whose earthly father didn’t hear them and didn’t hold them. I thought of the huge risk of letting that butt in on one’s perception of the perfect love of God the Father.
Have you heard His tender whisper? His love is the answer to your heart’s deepest longings.
LISTEN HERE. Be gripped by the arms of perfect love. Good Good Father By: Chris Tomlin
Through faith in Christ Jesus, our adoption is complete. “And so that we would know that we are His true children, God released the Spirit of Sonship into our hearts—moving us to cry out intimately, “Abba, Daddy.” We enjoy being God’s very own. And because we’re His, we can access everything our Father has—for we are heirs because of what God has done!” (Galatians 4:6-7)
