Resolve to trust God’s presence more this year.
How many times are we told not to worry? To be exact, it’s 365 times that the Lord drives this message home. Just think, He knew every day that we’d worry. “Just stop.” I have to tell myself, “Don’t do it, just stop,” I know you relate.
I love the Lord. I love His reminder, that He’s “striding” ahead of us and surrounds us on every side. Zero in on Him and hear Him calling out from Deuteronomy 31:7-8.
“Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought, because I, your God, am striding ahead of you. I am right there with you. I won’t let you down; I won’t leave you. Don’t worry.” — (Don’t do it!)
God’s character is defined and it’s permanent. Victorious and Ever-Present is His name.
