He’ll Be There

“On the day I needed You, I called, and You responded and infused my soul with strength.” (Psalm 138:3)
(
You held me and told me that everything is okay.)

In high school I’d lock arms with my besties and we’d sway singing this song with all our hearts. These lyrics took on a whole new meaning when I turned my eyes toward Jesus. They’ve come to life through all my chapters. Reflect with me a minute. Think about Jesus. Get a glimpse of His open arms. (Luke 15:17-24) Then, go ahead, sing! Listen for His still small voice. These lyrics stand firm. “All you gotta do is call. He’ll come runnin’!” You’ve got a forever friend, everlasting arms to hold you. Hear this song in a whole new way! You’ve God A Friend By: James Taylor

“While his son was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him;
he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.” (Luke 15:20)
