Gate Ajar

Posted on

Who left the gate open at our back fence? I’m not sure who, but I am sure of one thing, it spoke to me. Do you know about the gate? Jesus is the gate. Through Him we gain access into fields of grace and mercy. Once we get inside, we can lie down in green pastures. He leads us beside still waters and restores what’s missing. He pours life into our souls that we long for.

I went up to the gate closed and locked it shut and I was reminded that this is the beautiful testimony of Jesus. How He longs to have us come inside and lock us in tight, within His safe place of refuge. Close to His heart, close to His Word, settled into our identity as His beloved.

ARE YOU INSIDE THE GATE?
Are you resting in green pastures? How often do you lie down beside still waters? (Psalm 23)

My heart swells up with joy to think on these things, and to think that we can run wild and free in these pastures together forever! Count on His love today and always. Enter in. The gate is ajar!

“Jesus spoke, “Very truly I tell you, I speak to you eternal truth: I am the Gate for the sheep. Anyone who enters through Me will find pasture and live forever.” (John 10:7-9)
