These words bring deliverance. We always say, “I’m fine,” but are we really? Often, I’m not. We are called to stop faking. The battle is real. Chaos outside stirs chaos inside. Things often aren’t fine. We live in a fallen world. Circumstances can surface that leave us worn out and tired, grieving and desperate. What do we do with it all? Does anyone really understand our deepest sorrow?
Do you ever try to explain to loved ones all that you’re going through and conclude that they just can’t? They love us, they try, but it falls short. Instead of this letting us down, let’s carry the words, “I’m not fine” to the throne of grace without reservation. The truth is, only God understands everything we’re going through. Only He can see it up close and personal and get every single pulse of the situation. This helps me, does it help you?
CONSIDER HIS UNDERSTANDING
Pick up a leaf and hold it up to the sunlight. See all the intricate details running through the face of the leaf? Our Savior is that much into every pulse of our lives. Turn to the Light and know that He sees every detail and He is with you and understands. I proclaim this to my own soul today and I hope your soul receives it as well.
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.” (Isaiah 40:28)

AWESOME, Lori! THX.!!
