I was searching for my purpose and there it was in plain view, written across the front of a stranger’s t-shirt it read, “Made To Worship”. We all worship, something or someone. We just do. I’ve been prone to worship my feelings, accomplishments or circumstances. How about you? But we are wired to worship the Lord alone. Only then will we find our true purpose and peace.
What if we decided to worship the Lord more and more? Less about our circumstance, more about His character? What if we truly aimed to bring Him glory for all He has already done? He is worthy. He never changes. How can we start today?
“Man’s chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.“
(Westminster Catechism)
Oh Lord, what a privilege and joy to come into Your presence. Shift our hearts toward You more and more, shouting praise and keeping our gaze on You. Help us “keep on our t-shirt,” live into our design and glorify You.
Amen & Alleulia.
Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His ; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. (Psalm 100:1)
