My husband has the longest arms. The common rule is that a person’s height can be measured from fingertip to fingertip, but not so with him, his exceed this. When I think of his arms, I can’t help but think of the Lord’s and an all time favorite verse that depicts the extravagant measure. “Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save.” (Isaiah 59:1)
Outstretched on the cross so that He could stretch to wherever we are. Our biggest burdens and most awful mistakes. Our struggles that seem they will never end and our doubts that they ever will. Our mess ups and our mind games. God’s arm is not too short to save.
Can’t you relate to these places? I list them with ease because I speak from experience. He’s proven to me the trustworthiness of His reach. Each time I’m in the ditch He comes and lifts me out again. Where are you right now? Reach for the arm of the Lord.
First BIG reach: “Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9) From there we can be sure He’ll pick us up over and over and get us home!
Lord Jesus, praise You for Your long arms, for Your long suffering, Your infinite love and ongoing rescue.
Amen & Alleluia.

Great imagery.
Need His hand big time. XO
