Abundant Life Promised

Posted on

Abundant is defined as exuberantly plentiful, abounding and overflowing. Do we walk in this kind of life? It is written that this kind of life is ours in Christ. Jesus means what He says, “I came that they might have life to the full.” (John 10:10)

I believe. I want it. Don’t you want it too?

It begs the question, how then will I/we walk in it? I’ve been knocking on heaven’s door for insight over the past year or more. I’ve concluded that each day I have to lay down what’s not true and pick up what is. Acknowledge every thought and put it up against His Holy Word.

Life is lived out through our thoughts. Walking in abundant life will cost us our minds.

Our minds continually being reset to God’s every promise. Life then comes. Abundance in believing who we are, whose we are and who God is.

Don’t you want to walk this way? Life isn’t meant to be ordinary, Jesus promised us abundance. Apart from Him we will never find it. May His thoughts take up residence heart center, in the middle of our minds, washing over every crevasse of our lives.

What are you thinking about today? Try this. “God, if you are for me, who can be against me?” (Romans 8:31) Now answer out loud. Nobody Lord, nobody. You are for me, you are for me. Amen.

PS Out loud is key! I can’t shake misplaced thoughts til I voice the truth aloud. Oh and have you ever raised your hands behind closed doors and sang from the depths of your soul and danced? It’s highly recommended!!!! We must unlock the life offered to us. It’s a daily. (What a privilege to share this sliver of life with you.)

Lord, we desire to walk in abundance. Lead us, show us, mold us and make us. You are Savior and you keep Your every promise.
In You we will find it. Amen.

I have come to give you life in abundance, more than you expect—
life in its fullness until you overflow! (John 10:10)
