Endurance denotes or relates to a race that takes place over a long distance.
Life is a long distance…
Just the other day, I felt I couldn’t keep running, let alone keep jogging or even walking.
I crawled to Him and He ran to me. He reminded me of HIS endurance that goes the distance and covers all our days. He assured me of His enduring love. It never gives up. It persists, remains and survives despite how we are feeling; constant and stable, keeping a steady pace even when we have heavy feet and heavy hearts.
He keeps running, He endures.
Do you feel you lack endurance? Do you have heavy feet too? Isn’t it good to know that the Lord’s love is long-running and endures forever?
With Him, we will make it!
Lord, You never fail to speak a word of comfort. You understand that we can lose pace, but You keep us going in this race. When we feel like we might fold, You never do. You pick us up with Your enduring presence. Looking up, we see You and can make it. Praise You, You are forever faithful. You are good. Amen.
